Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined You can use fresh or frozen shrimp.
  • 1 pound crab meat, picked over for shells Ensure the crab meat is shell-free.
  • 1 can flaky biscuits This is refrigerated dough for convenience.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning A classic seasoning for seafood.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit package instructions (about 10 minutes).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in shrimp and crab meat, being careful not to break up the seafood too much.
  • Open the can of biscuits, separate each, and flatten them slightly to create pockets.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the filling onto each biscuit, fold over to create a pocket, and seal the edges.
  • Place filled biscuits on a baking sheet and bake according to pacakge instructions or until golden brown (about 15 minutes).
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving, topped with green onions.

Notes

You can prepare the filling and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for about 3 days. Reheat at 350°F for about 10 minutes for best results.
