Cooking Process

  • Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan and cook for about 4-6 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Flip the salmon gently and add the butter, garlic, and lemon juice to the pan.
  • Baste the salmon with the melted butter mixture and cook for another 4-5 minutes until flaky and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle parsley on top, plate, and serve.

Notes

Prepare the garlic butter ahead of time to save time. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Kid-friendly option: serve the salmon over pasta.
