  • 1 loaf loaf of bread Use your favorite type of bread.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works well.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives the best flavor.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Feel free to use other cheeses if desired.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Fresh parsley enhances the flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and scoop out a bit of the inside to create space for the filling.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.

Baking

  • Place the prepared halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Once done, slice the bread and serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the chicken mixture a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Leftovers can be used to top a salad or stuffed into a wrap.
