  • 4 cups chicken broth Look for store brands to save money.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Cut into small cubes for easy melting.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adds great flavor.
  • 1 lb kielbasa Sliced for convenience.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cut the cream cheese into small cubes.
  • Place the pierogies in the crockpot.
  • Layer on the sliced kielbasa, followed by cream cheese cubes and shredded cheddar.
  • Pour chicken broth over the ingredients and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for about 6 hours.
  • Gently stir occasionally to help cheeses melt evenly.
  • Serve hot from the crockpot once the pierogies are tender and the cheese has melted into a creamy sauce.

Notes
