Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled A great source of protein.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened For creaminess.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Add freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing and mixing.
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Pepper to taste Pepper

For the Wrapping and Drizzle

  • 1 package phyllo dough Use fresh phyllo for best results.
  • 1/4 cup honey To drizzle before serving.
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes For a spicy kick.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with olive oil, then place another sheet on top. Cut the stack into strips about 2-3 inches wide.
  • Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip and roll them tightly. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • While baking, warm honey with chili flakes in a small saucepan until bubbly.

Serving

  • Drizzle the honey mixture over the baked feta rolls before serving.

Notes

Make ahead and freeze for fresh baking later. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Consider pairing with tzatziki for an extra flavor kick.
