Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 8 ounces Boursin cheese You can substitute with cream cheese for a different flavor.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Light cream can be used but will result in a lighter texture.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Add a twist of lemon for extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Can be substituted with dill or chives.
  • Vegetables or salad for serving Roasted asparagus or garlic green beans complement this dish well.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese with heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Lay salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the creamy mixture over the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of vegetables or a light salad.

Notes

Prepare the cheese mixture in advance and store it in the fridge for a day or two. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 2-3 days and can be used in salads or pasta dishes. For a kid-friendly version, use fun-shaped vegetable cutouts or serve over pasta with extra cheese.
